Solution:

The solution powered by the Logic Lens platform was devised along 3 vectors:

• Hazardous Area Control.
  Certain critical areas were designated as “hazardous and restricted” areas as per the operational and business requirements. These areas were covered by more than 100 cameras of varying tilt and zoom capabilities, to identify and execute control of people entering and leaving specially designated areas. Depending on the access requirements, alerts were generated in real time, sent to supervisors as dictated by SOP defined by business owners.
• Control of Technological Operations
  A great degree of control resulting from real-time monitoring of employees’ location
  And construction of reports on violations, based on the schedules of the presence / absence
  of certain employees on the site, was implemented via the logic lens platform. This solution was a combination of cameras, IOT devices and sensors chained in specific order of operation.

Results:

The unique solution implemented using a combination of various factors like software (Logic Lens), server (cloud/on-premise/edge), camera (IP camera with IR illumination), and integration with an IoT platform that collected data from sensors, machine tools, PLCs, was operational for 90 days through a rapid pilot, followed by final deployment once the results stabilized.
